The Great Indian Phenomenon

Read today on YourStory about Adithya Iyer, who wrote a book on engineers, particularly Indian engineers. The first thought that crossed my mind was,” what a fantastic way to waste your time”. It changed the next moment, when I remembered that I am an engineering dropout. It suddenly seemed like a necessity.

The story on YS describes how he  launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise USD14000 to crowdfund his project. It was when Kickstarter and crowdfunding wasn’t popular. A book didn’t seem to be a good thing to crowdfund too.
The book will be out soon .
Many engineering students who make it to engineering colleges realise it is not their thing, almost midway through the course. Some quit then and there, like I did. Many scrape through and find a job somewhere and wish to migrate to the “America”.

All the best Adithya!!! The Great Indian Phenomenon is one book I’m waiting for.
